Angra and the band Rosa Vocal

MS Metal Press / Angra official note :

"Angra has recently registered the last participation on its seventh studio album. It is the female group Rosa Vocal created on 2005 in São Paulo at CLAM - Centro Livre de Aprendizagem Musical, under the supervision of Fernanda Gianesella. “We knew them at Norcal where we have been working on the record. They are also finishing their one and every day some of them bring cake to studio. As I am constantly hungry and not shy, I always took a piece of that. So we became friends and afterwards I knew that the acoustic guitar player, Italo Peron, had been my Harmony teacher. After that it was easy to get in contact with all of them” said the guitarist Rafael Bittencourt.

Rosa Vocal is a project which intends to vocalize the Brazilian popular songs through the Harmony. The line-up was formed in 2007 by Fernanda Gianesella, Ana Bacana, Gisela Freire, Isa Elizabetsky, Katya Delfino, Maria Zuma and Paula Duarte. “After my gastronomic experience, Brendan (owner of Norcal Studios and co-producer of our record) had the idea to invite them to take part on the album. They agreed, I made the arrangements for one of the tracks and the result was great. It is a song like 'The Shadow Hunter', I guess the fans will enjoy it” said the artist.

Angra continues to work on its seventh studio album at Norcal Studios in São Paulo and it is planned to be released in Brazil and worldwide in August this year."
