Angra's bassist, felipe Andreoli has released an official statement reporting new details regarding the tour of the band in Europe.
"After four years of absence, we're back in Europe. A tour that took a long time to happen, but goes better than expected. Inside a market in crisis and saturated with bands from Europe, Angra always has his placeholder. Shows in France are the biggest proof of that. A feeling of joy took over after the band's concerts, which we have not felt for some time. More than joy, the feeling that we made a big show, we gave our best and we got back all from the public.
The French public always had a strong relationship with Angra, full of love and gratitude. They are extremely selective and critical, and almost always consistent in their criticism. We heard from many fans who follow us for years tell us that these shows were the best they have seen from the band. And I believe it because it's what I felt. It's great to see that all these efforts to back Angra on feet are rewarded, even in places we've been away for so long.
I'm writing this message from Madrid, where we did our second and last Angra's show in Spain, where the public is very different from French public. It's closer to Brazilian one, passionate and strong. We had a little time to go downtown, eat a paella, and we really felt we were in Spain, contrary to our usual routine which essentially consists of a fixe route, bus, concert hall, bus, next town.
