The official website of the program Showlivre released a new video of the band Angra, performing the song "Nova Era" in acoustic version. The show, which was broadcasted last September 28, talked about the current events regarding the band, the release of his 7th studio album and his new world tour.

The Band Angra from São Paulo has recently officialy launched the latest video clip of his career. The song chosen was "Lease Of Life" and the video counting with the production of Paulo Calencci, the photographer Kaue Zilli and was directed by Richard Guida, with the participation of the actress Vanessa Cristina.
The production compagny responsible for the video, Alcateia Filmes, released the video yesterday at Vimeo. "We are all very happy with the release of the video and I'm sure that the fans will appreciate a lot, because it's the result of hard work and I believe it can well illustrate the climate of "Aqua". The hardest part was the shooting of underwater scenes because of the ever-shifting climate of Sao Paulo, but all survived, stay quiet", said the guitarist Rafael Bittencourt.

“I composed this song on the piano. First I got the main riff, then I created quickly the rest of the song but chorus and the end, Some days later I had the idea to create a song with a different structure, and in Lease of Life, the chorus just happen only one time during the whole song, and it’s explosive and full of emotions! A very sentimental and epic “Gran Finale”! This song has everything to do with the context of its lyrics. It starts calm, mysterious and full of hope. Then passion grows along the song as something impossible to control to suddenly find its climax in a very pleasant and melancholic energy! This song is about a prohibited love between Miranda, daughter of the usurped Duke of Milan, and Ferdinand, the son of one of the Duke’s betrayers. Their love is above any vengeance, angry and greed – the main vein inside this fantastic Shakespeare story!”
The lead singer of the bands Angra and Almah, Edu Falaschi, takes part in a brief tour in October and November with the project headed by Heleno Vale, Soulspell Metal Opera.

Rio Metal Blog : Edu, when and how did you start to get involved in the music ?
Edu Falaschi : Since I was born, because my father was a musician, not a professional one. But by the time I was 17, I got my first experience of playing in a band.
Rio Metal Blog : How did you get to Rock/Heavy Metal and what are your biggest influences?
Edu Falaschi : It happened due to my cousins who were Iron Maiden fans. By the time I was 12, I bought my first metal albums. My main influence as a singer is Dio.
Rio Metal Blog : Edu, as far as I know, your first band was Mitrium in 1990. What do you remember about that time? What are the most significant differences between the underground scene of that period of time and the modern reality?
Edu Falaschi : Everything was too magic, all of us were real dreamers, everything was more difficult without the Internet, but even in those conditions just a year after we started, Mitrium recorded its first LP. The fact is that it was almost impossible for a metal band of that time. Besides having a lot of fun, we also worked hard.
