Felipe Andreoli talks abouth the 7th video

MS Metal Press Official note :

The band Angra from São Paulo, still in studio recording their seventh album, launched in parallel, another chapter of the series of reports from the production of the new album.

The seventh chapter was shooted at Norcal Studios - where the album is being recorded - and focuses on the presentation of the studio facilities . "In this video shooted at Norcal, we are showing for the first time of the Angra's story the band at work in the studio. The structure is fantastic and staff are of the highest level, making easier our performence. We are looking forward to give the final result of one of the most complete albums composed by the band" said the bassist Felipe Andreoli.

The new Angra's album, still untitled, will be produced by the musicians themselves, is expected to be launched in the beginning of June this year.

"Angra : Edu and Rafael talks about the 6th video of the serie

Angra is putting the finishing touches on his new album and, in parallel, has released the 6th video of the report about the pre-production of his new album. "Now, it's for real ! Took directly from the studio and showing some of our routine work, in order to all our beloved fans feel part of the Angra's family. One of our most striking albums is almost finished" said the singer Edu Falaschi.

the 6th chapter has been completly shooted at Norcal Studios, showing some extracts from the recordings sessions, and scenes of drummer Ricardo Confessori at work. "This chapter is, I think, the coolest of all those available so far. It shows, quite clearly, as the atmosphere in the studio is propitious for the the birth of great ideas. The result is simply fantastic and I'm sure that our fans will be very proud of this new child", said the guitarist Rafael Bittencourt.

The new Angra's album, still untitled, will be produce by musicians themselves and is expected to be launched in the beginning of June this year."

Kiko Loureiro in Europe

MS Metal Press official note :

"The guitarist of the bands Angra and Neural Code, Kiko Loureiro, will be in Europe in March and April for giving clinics to promote his newest solo album, "Fullblast". Some cities from France, Slovenia and Italy will receive the Brazilian guitarist, who returns in Europe for a new step of his career.

Kiko Loureiro : "I'm going in Europe after finishing the new Angra's album. During this period of pre-launch, I'll continue the tour to promote my solo album "Fullblast", which was very well received in Europe. I often say that it's always good to play with people from different cultures. I'll see all the French, Slovenian and Italian fans."

Kiko Loureiro talks about the new Angra's album

The band Angra from São Paulo is finishing his new album, the successor of "Aurora Consurgens" (2006), at Norcal Studios in São Paulo.

The guitarist Kiko Loureiro released an official note, summing up the activities of the band in the studio, focusing on their recording sessions :

"These words are for the Angra's fans ...

It's with a great pleasure I inform you that we are about to finish the new album ! There is a great atmosphere in the studio and I recently finished my guitar parts (rhythms sections, solos, themes). Everything is ready at last ! Now I'm ending the recording of acoustic guitars and composing the lyrics of two new songs.
Work is well underway and the result is more and more impressive.

This will be certainly a great album showing the diversity of our musical ideas, where the balance between the traditional Angra's style and artistic innovations will be perfect"

Angra : awarded by Roadie Crew and Whiplash

Angra was voted best Brazilian band by the readers of the main Brazilian rock website (Whiplash) and also by the readers of Roadie Crew magazine ! The band also won for the best concert and Kiko Loureiro and Felipe Andreoli won as best guitar player and bass player, repectively.

Edu Falaschi : special guest on new Neverland album

Edu Falaschi is one of the special guests of the upcoming Neverland album, Ophidia, which will be released on March 26th (AFM Records).

The band Neverland was formed in 2007 as a collaboration between Turkish rock/metal band Dreamtone and Greek singer Iris Mavraki. The debut album of the band, "Reversing Time" ewas released in 2008 (AFM Records).

Here's the official statement of the band regarding Edu Falaschi's particiaption :

Edu Falaschi : singing lessons in São Paulo

MS Metal Press Official note :

The singer Edu Falaschi (Angra, Almah) will give some singing lessons for students residing in the city of São Paulo, next March. The musician will intend to treat the improvement of posture, support, tone color, through interpretation, resonance and more.

According to the singer : "Actualy, who had this idea was my Press Office, MS Metal Press. The proposal made to me was to open only 10 places for internet users who are part of my Orkut communities, benefiting the fans who have supported me over the years. Classes begin in March and will be individual, to give 100% of my attention to all students."
